The Problem

A successful Association service organization with extensive investment and insurance products to sell and present to members, came to us with the need for a Website Designcomprehensive new website to bring their online presence up to date. What was envisioned was a large site of approximately 900 pages, with a lot of scope for documentation and information within a private section, accessed through login, and an attractive and informative presence on the public side too for potential new customers. In addition to this, the site needed to be accessible in English and French, and interact with the client database to give account information, investment trading facilities, on-line payment capabilities, account review and transaction histories.

Our Solution

We began with interaction and consultation with the organization’s IT department. We needed considerable collaboration to help facilitate an online transactions and payments, interacting with the existing data related to customers, invoices, investment transactions and insurance details on the organizations database and server.

In addition, we set-up a series of templates for the website to represent the graphical designs the client wanted to utilize to define their brand. These elements were combined with a content management system, set-up in collaboration with the in-house IT department, in order for the copy-writers to be able to input content and easily make changes to text and images.

The Outcome

The result of this project is an extensive new website which is attractive to potential customers and informative and easy to use for existing clients and members. In addition, it fully interacts with all of the organization’s in-place transaction creation and processing functions and systems and is easy to edit and update by the staff. It is a great example of effective planning and implementation, creating an end-product that major corporations would be proud of. A successful result, all-round!
