Every year Google releases its Zeitgeist search list looking at what people searched for globally and by region. It offers and interesting insight in our online behavior and also prompts powerful memories about the most important event over the year. At Prodigm we offer SEO services (What is SEO?), so we pay very close attention to what Google is doing, but sometimes its good to just take an interest in the findings. Google also released this video as part of the report:

this year was no exception, and its interesting to see how much Apple dominated our searches “iPhone 5,” “Steve Jobs” and “iPad 2″ all made the top-10 list for fastest-rising searches, and “iPhone 4S,” “iPad 2,” and “iPad 3″ took up 3 of the top-10 spots in the electronics category.
